The Sharks Skills Academy or SSA is part of our development structure for grassroots players.
This program caters for all players no matter of skill level and ability.
Girls 5-12 years and Boys 5-12 years
The program is designed for players 5 - 12 years of age who want to improve their skills whether its the first time that they have kicked a ball or if they are just looking to break into the next tier at the club. The players are given the option of attending twice a week or just once a week based on what they are looking to get out of the program.
The coaches are fully qualified with the FFA and are currently involved with representative football at the Sutherland Sharks. Having this final tier as our grassroots foundation lets us look at the full spectrum of players at our club and ensure that they are all getting the required training and skills to take them forward in their football.
The same opportunity is given to the SSA as is with SAP and SDS and that is the opportunity to work hard and improve your skills and be identified as a talent for end of year trials or to be promoted into the next tier and continue your football pathway.
We encourage any player that loves their football just to come down and get involved even at this level as you never know where it may lead with dedication and hard work.
Cost -
$200 for the term (one day a week) Monday
