Sutherland Sharks would like to thank the coaches that have done an outstanding job for the 2017 season and are proud to announce the appointment of the coaches for 2018

Announcement of Youth Coaches for 2018

Under 13’s – Allan Edmondson

Allan has spent a lifetime in coaching and developing young football players and is one of the Shire’s most respected coaches. Allan is a Football Federation of Australia (FFA) Accredited coach who is current completing his ‘A’ Licence which is the highest football qualification in Australia.

Allan brings to the table a wealth of expert football experience. In recent years, he has coached the Sharks u/20 team and during 2017 was the Sutherland Sharks assistant first grade coach.

Under 14 – Alex Anagnostiadis

Alex is recognised as one of the Sutherland Shire’s finest youth league coaches with a proven track record of developing young players. He is a Football Federation of Australia (FFA) Accredited Coach.

The great work that Alex does can be seen each week in the way that our existing under 14 Youth League team have developed individually and collectively under his guidance and coaching.

Under 15s - John O’Shea

John is the Technical Director of the Sutherland Shire FC Youth League teams and brings with him many years of coaching experience. John is an ex-Socceroo, an Accredited Football Federation of Australia (‘B’ Licence) coach and a former National Soccer League champion.

Under 16s – Chris Tsimiklis

Chris has been with the Sutherland Sharks Youth League sides for the last 4 years in an assistant coach capacity. Chris is an Accredited Football Federation of Australia coach with a passion for developing young players in readiness for senior football.

Under 18s - Jané Talcevski

Chris Tsimiklis will work closely with the new coach of the u18s NPL side who is Jané Talcevski

Jané is a former Australian Youth International and has worked with FFA Skilleroo’s and FNSWI program across various age groups, Jané has extensive experience in elite player development and talent identification and has overseen the development of a number of players currently plying their trade in Europe, the National Youth League and the various Australian Youth representative teams.

Jané brings a wealth of knowledge to the club having been mentored by some of the most prestigious clubs in Europe both in formative and professional football. We look forward to him sharing this knowledge with the players and staff at our club.

Outgoing coaches

While there are still some weeks before the end of the 2017 Youth League season, with the announcement of the 2018 coaches it is also time to recognise the great work and contribution of Eric Hristodoulou (under 13’s), Shane Madden (under 15’s) and Stu and Jeremy Cox (under 16’s).

The club would also like to thank Stu Blake for his tireless work in educating our u18s NPL side throughout the 2017season.

Their effort in developing our young players over a long season is greatly appreciated by the Sharks FC football community and we hope this is not the last time that we see them around Seymour Shaw.
