Sutherland Sharks recruit two strikers for 2010

2009 NSW Premier League Champions Sutherland Sharks have added two new recruits to its player roster for 2010 with attackers Benjamin Vidaic and Steve McConologue joining the Shire based club.

Vidaic is well known to many in the NSW Premier League as he has played senior football for both Sydney United and more recently Marconi Stallions. The 21-year-old was a former Sutherland Sharks youth product before moving off to the Blacktown City Demons but was delighted to be once again playing with the Shire side. The big 6 foot 4 striker will add much needed steel to the Sharks attack after losing 2009 Gold Medal Winner Bradley Boardman to the Bonnyrigg White Eagles.

Linking up with Vidaic up-front will be Scotsman Steve McConologue.

The former Scottish Schoolboys star played in the Scottish Third Division for Stranraer F.C. before coming to Australia where he met up with close friend and Sharks tough midfielder Neil Jablonksi.
