What a great week for the Sharks

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Last Sundays Semi final of the Tiger Cup saw the Sharks crush the Penrith team and will now come up against the strong Manly side in the Final. Continueing this form into this weekends important away clash the Sharks put 3 away in the second half against Bonnyrigg to come away 3-1 winners. The win puts the Sharks even closer to a top five with Bonnyrigg a threat for a top five spot before the game now out of the running with 2 games left in the competition proper.  The Sharks squad couldn`t contain their joy after the game and it is said you could hear the team song 10 miles away as they celebrated what was a pressure cooker game and came through with flying colours. With this kind of fighting spirit the Sharks will have the other finals contenders shaking in their boots.          All in All a top week for the Sharks.
